This specialist boat paint is manufactured to help slow down the growth of the micro organisms that attach themselves to the hull of a boat or ship. In addition to its antifouling properties, boat antifoul paint can also help act as a defence barrier against possible corrosion on metal hulls and can also help improve the water flow past the hull.

If you leave your vessel afloat in seawater or freshwater when not in use, it is vital that you apply a new coat of boat antifoul paint at least once a season to ensure that your boat's hull is clear of micro organisms. The application of boat antifoul paint is generally quite easy, even for the most in-experienced boat owners. You will only need a paintbrush, roller and tray, masking tape and paint mixer. When using boat antifoul paint, it is important to protect yourself fully, Teamac recommend that you wear full overalls and a mask to avoid any chemical reactions. Teamac Boat Antifoul

Teamac Paints offers a choice of different boat antifoul paint for use on different materials or water. Our Boat Antifoul 'A' paint is ideal for use on all types of hulls including aluminium. It offers exceptional antifouling properties and provides a semi-gloss finish. This antifouling paint is available in a choice of different colours including White, Black, Red and Blue. This antifoul paint will cover around 10-12 meters per litre.

Teamac Antifoul Paint 'D' is perfect for use on boats that travel at up to 20-25 knots maximum. It offers superb antifouling properties with a fully approved blend of biocides. Similar to our Antifoul Paint 'A', it also offers a semi-gloss finish and comes in a range of colours including Black, Green, Blue, Grey and Red. Typically with correct application, you can achieve a covering of 10sq. meters per Litre.

Our final Antifoul Paint in our range is our 'Tropical Killa' Antifoul Paint. This antifoul paint is an economical copper based, which provides a scrubable surface for seasonal protection. It is ideal for use with Boats that travel of speeds 25-30 knots. This antifoul paint is suitable for domestic and commercial vessels and can protect steel, wood or GRP hulls. It is available in Black Red and Blue and should achieve a covering of 10sq. meters per Litre.
