Marine Paint

Teamac Paints have been supplying marine paint for over 100 years and have developed a fantastic range of paint products for use on boats and yachts. In this post we will show you a selection of our marine paint products.

Marine Gloss

Our marine gloss has excellent opacity and a high gloss finish which is suitable for a range of different marine areas, bridge fronts, deckwork, masts and superstructure. The gloss also boasts excellent adhesion to ensure a solid long lasting finish. Our marine gloss comes in a massive choice of colours to ensure that your vessel looks superb on the sea!

For surface preparation all should be clean, dry, sound and free from contaminants. Existing painted surfaces should be cleaned, de-greased and sanded to ensure an adequate “key” is produced. In addition all flaking material should be removed and bare areas should be treated as new substrate then prepared accordingly.

Marine Primers

Teamac Marine Primers offer a heavy duty anti corrosive primer for us on metal surfaces including aluminum in preparation for top coats, such as our marine gloss. It is often used prior to the application of P101 High Performance Topcoat.

This marine primer is best used for application to blast cleaned and other suitably prepared surfaces. The steel must be cleaned effectively for the bond to be strong between our superb marine primer and the metal. Ideally it should be used in a low temperature and high humidity
